Don't Feed The Gators

Florida is a very interesting place. All of the roads here in the greater Port St. Lucie area are laid out like a grid. All right angles. Not too many winding roads like RI. Wherever we are, we seem to come across a road that can easily connect us back to the rv park. Lagre shopping plazas pop up every few miles. Everything from groceries to gambling. Churches. A number of  There's a lot of open space here. Giant fields with tons of cows. Funny thing about the cows. They are everywhere and the fields seem to go on forever.  Yet, not a barn in sight!  Where the hell do they go? More important.  Where did they come from?๐Ÿ‘ฝ๐Ÿ•ณ

We have found a lot of cool places driving around. Getting to know our surroundings.  Picking up geocaches along the way. Great trails to beaches and ponds. Small wooden bridges over  trenches into wildlife preserves. A lot of wildlife. No gator yet. Alot of birds. Big birds! Pelicans are kind of everywhere.  And peacocks. Yes peacocks. They run wild around here. Its pretty cool.

We saw Maddy and Breanna last week. They were in Panama City all month visiting with Breannas family.  They were 8 hours away from us so we met them half way. And that was Cedar Key. That was a groovy little town. The kind of place where the only gas station was 40 miles from the Keys on the main land. So we tooled around there for a while. Geocaching of course. Hopped on a boat to see some manatee, which we did. Maybe next time, we will float with them.  They just kinda float. Its pretty cool. Had what we called Thanksgiving Dinner at Chili's.  Its funny. We come all the way down here,  and i still have dinner with family. ๐Ÿ˜†

It was a great day and was so happy to spend it with the Girls. Maddy and Breanna are so in love. Its fun to watch. How sweet they are. How they look at one another. Im so happy Maddy has found that kind of love. And im glad its Breanna that gives her that love.

So the fucking car started acting up on the ride home from Cedar Key. Got to get that looked at. Nothing but trouble ever since we got that damn thing.

Thanksgiving day was very low key. Just me and Jess, Simon and PoePoe. I got two big ass prime rib roast steaks from the restaurant.  Have i mentioned that they love me? They do.  Jess made sausage stuffing, mash potatoes, broccoli and cheese cake. We watched the Dog Show as we do on Thanksgiving. Jumped in the pool for a while. Played some music. Just a mellow, low key day.  I am thankful for You, Baby!

On to December.
