Stuff

We've encountered a number of people in our quest to become hippie  bus folk. They would say things like, "You're crazy, Im jealous and I want to do that someday."  Well, this is our "Someday."

So now, when someone asks me how I'm doing? And i reply "Living the dream." I actually mean it. Now we just have to make it happen.

At this moment, we are experiencing technical difficulties with the park brake on the bus. We have a guy coming to fix it i hope. Kinda in a holding pattern.

Packing the house has been a lot of fun. So much stuff to go through. We have stuff everywhere!  We donated a lot of stuff to Good Will. Towels and blankets to the local animal shelter.

Gave stuff away. A teenage girl and her dad came to pick up an old guitar i dont play anymore. She plays classical guitar and it was time to plug in. I was happy it going to a good home, and she was happy leaving with an imitation Strat and a pare of Hot Pink boots Jessica had.

*WE INTERRUPT THIS BLOG POST WITH IMPORTANT RV NEWS*

Part arrived. Part installed. No red lights or blown fuses. Brake repaired. All systems go!

Storing stuff. We have a small storage spot and we have this thing packed tighter than an intense game of Tetris. You can tell Jessica played one or twice. Rather impressive.

Throwing stuff out. Sticking to the mantra of "Fuck It", got rid of a lot of needless things.  Letting things go and not looking back.

The loading of the bus has been a task, yet fun all at the same time. Navigating the space in the bus vs. our stuff. Jessica has it down to a science. So far it's going rather well. There's more space than i first anticipated.  We still have a lot of work to do, but I'd say it's  1/3 to 1/2 packed. It's weird how empty the house is.

Now that the bus is functioning, got to get back to packing. Everything else goes to plan, we should be taking off Monday. Tuesday the latest. Here's to hoping.  Until the next post...Rock on, Kids!🤘
