Halfway to Everywhere.

Two days of travel. What fun has it been? A bunch. Really!  Jessica has caught me randomly grinning while driving. "Whatcha smiling about over there?"

I catch myself thinking that i am really in this bus, driving to a new home and job. I just laugh because i still can't believe it. When my former boss interviewed me, he asked me where i saw myself in 5 years. I laughed and  answered on a beach, under a palm tree in Hawaii. Well, its not Hawaii,  but i still get my beach and palm trees.

Day one was full of excitement and anxiety.  We got up early and finished packing up the last few things. Got Simon πŸ• and Poe Poe 🐈 in the bus and off we went. Jessica and I just looking at each other with this, how do i put it, OMG! What the fuck are we doing?  look and just smiled. The animals are all fucked up. Poor Poe has been under the couch most of the time. Pissed off that she has a harness on and can't  go outside. Simon is just a pill. He whines and bitches now and then, but they are ok.  Shitty day weather wise. Rained all day. Made driving a whole new barrel of monkey.  Got to the RV park in Pennsylvania and stayed the night. Nice little place. Somewhere on the edge of Amish country. Jessicas BFF Kris came to see us and brought us food. Thanks Kris! They haven't seen each other in a long time. So it was a nice visit. Wish it could have been longer.

Day two was a better day for weather. Started out raining, but cleared up somewhere around West Virginia.  Pretty uneventful drive.   Some traffic. Some road construction 🚧 which was interesting to say the least. Stayed on route 81 all day.

We are now at Max Meadows RV park in Fort Chiswell Virginia for the night. A cool place.  We are actually in a meadow with nothing but cows on all sides. They have been mooing full volume most of the evening, which is pretty neat.

Two days down, two days to go. We are crashing at an old friends in South Carolina tomorrow. Then the home stretch Friday.

Good night everybody.  Im gonna head out to smoke and talk to the cows. πŸ„  MOOOO!
